    Sleipner's patented intelligent power control provides a minimal delay between drive directions to reduce wear of the mechanical parts while monitoring solenoid functions. In the case of a solenoid lock-in, the thruster will automatically stop without extra user action or controlling the main switch.

SXP80 PRO™ with variable speed control is an efficient stern thruster designed for boats up to 48 feet with twin stern drives. The thruster provides 80-96 kg thrust, and its special cowls redirect water flow past the stern drives.

The unit is delivered fully assembled, wired, and sealed in a waterproof box and only requires a small hole in the boat's transom to attach power- and control cables.

Sleipner's SX stern thrusters are the perfect choice for boats equipped with twin stern drives. The unit features special cowls that divert water flow past the stern drive legs, ensuring excellent performance. Thanks to its hydrodynamic shape, short flow channel, and optimal placement, the unit boasts minimal water resistance, allowing for high speeds without any perceptible loss.

Installation is a breeze, as the SX stern thruster is delivered preassembled, wired, and sealed in a waterproof box. Only a small hole in the boat's transom is required to attach the power and control cables. The streamlined design of the unit reduces noise emission by about 80%, thanks to its external placement of the engine, which also eliminates potential border cavitations.

Moreover, the external placement of the unit provides more efficient water cooling, resulting in a much longer duration per cycle compared to traditional bow and stern thrusters.
